Severe Middle Ear Infections

Inflammation often begins with sore throats, cold and it reaches the middle ear. The infection may be due to the viral or bacterial attack.

The symptoms of acute Otitis media generally it starts from 2-7 days of the infection usually comes after cold or some respiratory problems. The early symptoms of Otitis media includes mild ear pain, unusual irritability, problem while sleeping, problem in hearing .Some of the common symptoms of Otitis media are Loss of weight, vomiting, and grouchy behavior. Fluid draining from the ear and tugging or pulling at one or both ears are other symptoms of this disease. Eardrum ruptures due to the viral action due to this there is loss of balance. Unresponsive to the quite sound, lack of attentions are the other signs of this disease.
Common symptoms in adult are fever, dizziness, Feeling of blockage in the ear, ear pain and hearing loss due to severe infections. Feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear often troubles the children and make them to feel pressure and pain in the ears .Children starts rubbing the ear in order to relief from the pressure. Loss of hearing is the main symptom of acute otitis media and making them inattentive and dreamy. Blockage of air leads to earache and fluids drain due to the pressure in the middle ear due to this children appear grumpy.
