We have many different home remedies which are used to treat problems in middle ear. Usually children’s aging below two years is not given antibiotics. Antibiotic is recommended by doctors only if there is a high risk and children’s aging above two years. Antibiotic treatment only reduces pain and fever and usually not preferred for children’s. Main reason for this is growing number of the bacteria and resistance developed by bacteria to these antibiotics. In children, there is almost more than eighty percent of the infection which gets cured before the treatment.
Doctors in case of severe illness very rarely follow surgical treatments like inserting ear tubes or removing adenoids and the tonsils. Inserting ear tubes is the one of the best treatment otitis media. It has been estimated that nearly 80 percent of children gets relief after the insertion of the tube into the eardrum. Replacement of stapes also provides relief from the pain and it reduces the condition for hear loss. Ear pain also leads to high fever of 101° (38.33°) or even higher with vomiting and dizziness. Home remedies and other natural treatments without the advice and recommendation of the doctor will lead to severe illness it also results in deafness in some individuals.
